Shortly before 8 p.m. on Jan. 24, officers from the Yorktown Police Department were dispatched to Macy’s on Lee Road, where there was a claim of shoplifters at the location involving three suspects.

Police said that three suspects allegedly worked together to steal “assorted merchandise” totaling $1,109.26. Further investigation determined that Christopher Jason Guy of Mount Vernon was in possession of the stolen items at the A Plus Sunoco on Lee Road.

Guy surrendered himself to police custody this week, and he was arrested and charged with fourth-degree criminal possession of stolen property, a felony.

Guy was remanded to the Westchester County Jail in lieu of $5,000 cash bail or $7,500 bond. He is due back in Yorktown Justice Court on Feb. 6 to answer the charge.
